SPN Gen Rec - "Lazarus Rising"

"Lazarus Rising" by [info]oselle . 

I came across this story and quite simply, I am in love.  She started it back in June, so no spoilers for the current season, although some similarities (Kripked?  I don't know the lingo!).  Dean comes back from actual Hell to find Hell on earth - desolation, martial law, and a world that is very different from the one he left four years before.  And just where is Sam?

The pacing, descriptions, and characterizations are just so rich and lyrical - it's like settling down with a good novel you don't want to put down.  Currently a WIP, six of eight chapters are posted.  I was lucky enough to stumble upon it, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Oo, thank you for the rec, darling. :) I have bookmarked it and will be reading it tomorrow night after class. I've been dying for some good SPN fic.

it's funny, the way i got lost in it totally reminded me of one of your stories. i hope you enjoy is as much as i did!

have you been reading [info]poisontaster's 'a kept boy' 'verse? it's jeff/jensen AU and it's another one where you kind of get lost in the world she creates - i highly recommend it!
